Please find enclosed a brief Feedback on the AoA Review Template:
In general we are in favour with the kind of questions and theit range as stated in the template.
But if too many of the assessments are prioritised then the work load just to answer the template questions will become a challenge
Questions on the process are - who will when prióritize, whoo has to be involved for this selection step, who will aftereard review - will this be organized central or national including authors, relevant experts?
It would be beneficary to allow multiple answers in those cases where the answers do not exclude themselves logically, in order to avoid a loss of information (e.g. we had employed In-House Experts as well as Extern Experts in the team compiling the National State of the Environment Report - in this case we could only respond in the review by chosing "Others" without any further specification on it)
We do refer to the follwoing example where this "difficulty" for us emerged:
"Q.10 How was the expertise to carry out the assessment selected?
Using in-house expertise within the body(ies) involved in producing the assessment report.
Using expertise within available networks (see Q.6)
By means of open competition (tender or application, etc)
By direct agreement/selection
Information not available
Other"
With kind regards
